There is plenty to see and experience in the pink oriental preserved city of Marrakech and the surrounding areas. Enjoy a few days in Marrakech to see the artisans, historic buildings, restaurants, shops, market (jama el Fna), district of Kasbah, Gueliz (The new city) the French-inspired parts of Marrakech, Majorelle garden, Madrasa Ben Youssef and the adjacent museum (Museé de Marrakech). Last but not least, you have to spend some time to experience the Atlas Mountains. Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou is situated about 170 km from Marrakech with perhaps an overnight stay in the city of Ouarzazate, where there is Atlas Studios - known as Africa's Hollywood, where many famous movies have been made that require desert landscapes, etc.
